Racing Regulations

1. Race

1.1.   According to the calendar of the International Cycling Union (hereafter UCI), MTB Port of Tallinn GP (hereafter Race) is considered a 2nd category XCO race.
1.2.   There will be one start:
1.2.1.   Men categories: Elite Men and Men U23, M18, Senior 0, Senior 1 and Senior 2.
1.2.2.   Women categories: Elite Wommen and Women U23.
1.2.2.1.  U23 riders will compete in the Elite Men category, but winners by age group will also be awarded.
1.3. The Race will be held according to the regulations of UCI and the current regulations.
1.4. The Race is a part of Estonian MTB Weekend which includes also Tallinn Cycling Marathon (60 km) taking place on July 10.

2. Place and time

2.1. The Race will take place on July 9, 2011 in Tallinn, with the starting and finishing point in Nõmme Sports Centre.

2.2. The Race will be held on the 4-6 km long Nõmme health tracks, near the Glehn Castle and Mustamäe ski jump tower.

3. Registration and information

3.1. Registration for the Race begins on April 1, 2011 and ends on June 27, 2011.
3.2. Registration for the Race takes place according to the official registration form. 
3.3. The official registration form is available on the internet: www.proklubi.ee/reg, you can download, complete it on the web and print.
3.4. The original registration form of the Race together with riders licenses and the Federation’s approval must be submitted to the Race Headquarters.
3.5. The International information about the event can be found in the website of Pro Jalgratturite Klubi (Pro Cyclists Club) www.proklubi.ee and in Facebook, under the name of „Tallinn GP“.

4. Distances and time schedule

4.1. The duration of the Race proceed from the MTB regulation of UCI (1h 30 min – 1h 45 min).
4.2. Start will be 14.00 a.m.

Friday, July 8 Preparation day
13:00 – 14:30 Race Headquarters is open on the Racing place, distribution of start numbers and timing chips
15:00 – 18:00 Racing course is open for inspection
17:00 – 18:00 Race Headquarters is open on the Racing place, distribution of start numbers and timing chips
Saturday, July 9 Racing day
09:00 – 10:00 Race Headquarters is open on the Racing place, distribution of start numbers and timing chips
09:00 – 10:30 Racing course is open for inspection
10:00 – 10:30 Meeting of the teams representatives
11:00 – 11:30 Commissar`s panel meeting
13:45 Start corridor is open, riders are called to start by name
14:00 Start
15:30 – 15:45 Finish
15:45 Awarding ceremony


6.
Entry fees

6.1.   The entry fee is 15 EUR.
6.2.   Entry fees should be paid by bank transfer on the internet: www.proklubi.ee/reg
6.3.   Entry fee on the spot is 30 EUR.

7. Numbers and starting materials

7.1. The start numbers and materials will be distributed to the representatives of the teams at the Race Headquarters (at the starting and finishing point of the Race) after the license and registration checks on July 9 between 09:00–10:00.
7.2.   I start:
7.2.1.   The starting order of Elite riders depends on the UCI ranking.
7.3.   The number of participants in start is limited to 100.

8. Responsibility

8.1.   The rider is materially liable for the timing chip from the moment he/she receives it until returning the chip. In case the rider does not return the chip he/she will be obliged to pay a fine of 32 EUR.

9.1.   Elite Men according to the requirements (European B-group) of UCI:  top 15
9.2.   Elite Women according to the requirements (European B-group) of UCI:  top 10

10.2.   The prizes of U23 Men/ Women, M18 and Senior classes will be various articles (gift vouchers from sports equipment stores).

10.3.      If less than four riders start in one of the age group of Senior 0-2 categories, the organizers will have the right to give out the first place prize only.

11.1.   According to the UCI regulations category C2:
